April 2025 HES has moved to its new manufacturing facility with a 4000 square foot unit, 10 metres high roof with 15 tonne crane capacity and a 1520 square feet storage unit and yard space plus a separate office space and canteen and washroom facility.
July 2025 Welcome on board Cameron Rutherford we look forward to teaching you many new skills along the road ahead as you become an invaluable member of our team.
In August and September we have been busy supply safety equipment to a regular client in the ground shoring industry and manufacturing a short conveyor system for a local fertilizer plant. We have also supplied and installed some maintenance platforms at a regular customer allowing him access to maintain his conveyors which we supplied and installed for him.
During October and November we have been installing a pipe system at a clients in Stainless Steel using the crimped M profile system. This will be commissioned in the New Year when the electrical team have finished. We have also been carrying out pipework repairs and general maintenance at a local quarry where we regularly work.
December sees the quiet before christmas although we have been active again at the quarry and also carrying out a lot of structural repairs for a portable building company local to us.
January to June 2026 we have been employed almost continually at the Lime Quarry carrying out various renewals including supply and install stainless pipework, repairs to numerous installations on site and general maintenance as required by the client. We have supplied access platforms to a resin driveway manufacturer and are on with quoting for numerous new installations including conveyors, hoppers and support steelwork for screeners. We have also carried out maintenance for this company on their conveyors at another site. We have also supplied two new clinker chutes for a renewables burning power station with further works to discuss now the outage has passed.
July and we are at the quarry all month replacing and renewing condemned walkways with new support steels welding in place and new GRP floor panels clipped in to provide a safe walkway. In the workshop our head fabricator is busy constructing 2 off 12 metre long multilevel access platforms with walkways and handrails for a local Tarmac production company. This will be followed up by another access platform and then a replacement hardox delivery chute for the gravel industry facility who we look after. Further works will then be done at a chemical recycling facility in Middlesbrough initially removing before later installing new screw conveyors and various steelwork and platforms. We are also just finishing off a couple of large 1066mm diameter Conveyor Drive Drums c/w gearwheels for a client before proceeding to overhauling a drive unit for them with a new pair of 686mm diameter drive drums and gearwheels to supply.
Today 8th July 2026we have received a further order for another 20 Davit Bracket boxes as previously supplied to our client over a number of years. These are an important safety critical component within the civils and major projects construction industry in which they operate. We are grateful for this continued trust in our company to supply this product. Picture of the completed products will follow when the contract is completed in Mid August.
